The Newsletter on World Wide Web

Source: Henk Eertink <eertink@trc.nl>, University of Twente

WWW (World Wide Web) is a world-wide information system based on hypertext-like navigation. Each hypertext link points to a document (or a part of it) somewhere in the world. It is increasingly popular, and you may find information on it from the internet. WWW is accessed through public domain applications like `xmosaic'.

The version of the newsletter has been translated into HTML code for use on the University of Twente WWW server. The result is very nice: it is good-looking and easy to refer to through the table of contents by a click of the mouse. Please allow time for new issues of to be made available by WWW. Anyone can hook their own WWW-client to the following page:

http://utis179.cs.utwente.nl:8001/lnews/

Be sure to give the last `/'.
